Water Slide Closure

Late last fall, it was discovered that the concrete platform/base of the Snohomish Aquatic Center's Splashtacular waterslide needed significant structural repair. In its current condition, the platform/base and slide cannot be used safely.

For the past several months, the school district has been working closely with engineers and contractors to find the safest, best, and most cost-effective solution to the structural issue. This remains a top priority for our facility, and we are hopeful that the Splashtacular waterslide will be repaired by the end of the calendar year.

We understand that this situation and timeline may be disappointing, but guest safety is our top concern. As an alternative, the facility offers the Fire Blaster, a dual inflatable 18-foot slide that brings excitement for all ages.
