Rubber Duck Derby!

Join us every Friday in July for the Rubber Duck Derby during Open Recreation Swim! For just $1 per duck, you can enter themed ducks into a race around the Lazy River for a chance to win prizes. With a new duck theme each week, you'll want to come back and race again!

How it works

Register for a Friday Open Recreation Swim at 1 p.m. or 6 p.m.

Participants must be registered for Open Recreation swim to take part in the Rubber Duck Derby. Races will be held only during the Friday Open Recreation Swim sessions.

Buy your duck(s)

Purchase a rubber ruck for $1 at Guest Services. You can buy as many as you'd like, (while supplies last)! Pick your favorite out of the bunch and then write your name on the bottom of your duck(s).

It's race time!

During the last 15 minutes of Open Recreation Swim, all derby ducks will be released into the Lazy River, and the race will begin as the current takes them around the figure eight.

Win prizes

The first three ducks to cross the finish line and be scooped up out of the Lazy River by our staff will win a prize! Participants must be present to claim their prizes.

Take your duck home

All ducks go home with their owners after the race.
