Congratulations to local girls' swim teams!

A huge congratulations to our local high school swimmers! This past weekend at districts, both Glacier Peak High School and Snohomish High School girls swim teams made waves and showed incredible talent.

Glacier Peak High School- 2nd place at districts

State qualifiers:

• Keelie Sullivan- 1st place 200 IM and 100 backstroke

• Megan Maley- 1st place 50 freestyle, 2nd place 100 freestyle

• Claire Butler- 1st place 1M dive

• Olivia Conley- 3rd place 1M dive

• Taylor Thompson- 2nd place 100 backstroke, 3rd place 200 freestyle

• Jolie Takano- 3rd place 100 freestyle

Relays:

• 2nd place 200 freestyle: Riley Lowell, Namuun Munkhnasan, Brooke Vandehey, Taylor Thompson

• 2nd place 400 freestyle: Megan Maley, Jolie Takano, Keelie Sullivan, Taylor Thomspon

Snohomish High School- 5th place at districts

State qualifiers:

• Sophia Kuntz- District champion 200-yard IM, 2nd place 500-yard freestyle

Relay:

• 4th place 200-yard medley: Olivia Huber, Sophia Kuntz, Kaydence Moore, Naomi Davidson, Anna Goetz

We are so proud of these teams for their hard work, dedication, and amazing performances! We are cheering you on!
