ParentSquare is a simple, easy-to-use communication platform that allows us to send real-time alerts, updates, and newsletters directly to you via text message and email.

It helps ensure you never miss important information about the Snohomish Aquatic Center.

We are introducing ParentSquare to improve how we share important, time-sensitive updates like weather-related closures or last-minute schedule changes. ParentSquare allows us to quickly send text messages and emails to all guests, helping ensure you never miss urgent information.

We will continue to our current customer email notification system for program-specific communication, such as reminders or updates for individual swim lesson classes, water fitness groups, or other activities. This system is limited to email only but allows us to target specific groups based on registrations.

Both tools serve different purposes, and together they help us keep you informed—whether it’s a general facility update or a message specific to your program. We highly encourage all guests to register for ParentSquare so you don’t miss any important notifications!

Community Groups are groups created within ParentSquare for people who want to stay informed but may not have students enrolled in the Snohomish School District. They’re open to anyone — community members, extended family, and guests — who want to receive updates from specific groups like the Snohomish Aquatic Center.

We’ll only send messages when necessary — such as monthly newsletters, reminders, or time-sensitive alerts. You won’t be bombarded with frequent emails or texts, although, the frequency of messages may vary depending on the season and upcoming activities.

No. Unfortunately, our staff cannot communicate via text message about swim lessons or programs/activities. We will only send text messages to those who elect to receive them, about facility-wide information. 

Yes! ParentSquare offers several customizable notification settings so you can choose how and when you receive messages.

• Instant notifications: These notifications will come to your text and/or email as soon as we send them out.
• Digest mode: These notifications will be received via text and/or email at the end of the day.

You can also select your preferred delivery method- email, text message, or app notifications (should you choose to download the app). 

All of these customizations can be found in your ParentSquare account settings and can be adjusted at any time.

Yes. ParentSquare has a built-in translation feature that allows you to receive messages in your preferred language. You can access languages in your account settings. Once you have set your preference (default is English), messages from the Snohomish Aquatic Center will be automatically translated for you.

Yes! You’re in control. You can update your preferences or unsubscribe from the group at any time if you no longer wish to receive messages.

No. Joining the Snohomish Aquatic Center community group will only subscribe you to Aquatic Center messages.

You will only receive school-specific messages if you choose to join other Snohomish School District and school community groups or are already connected to a school through your ParentSquare account.
