Sharing a Lane
Lap swimming is a great way to stay active, and at times, sharing a lane may be part of your visit. We appreciate your flexibility and cooperation in helping create a positive experience for everyone in the pool.
Tips for a smooth lane-sharing experience:
- Use your assigned lane
Please swim only in the lane assigned to you, even if another lane appears open. - Be aware of your time
Please keep track of your reservation time so others can enjoy their scheduled swim. - Introduce yourself
When joining a lane, enter the water carefully and make sure the current swimmer sees you before you begin. - Split the lane
Most shared lanes are “split” down the middle. Each swimmer stays on one side of the black line. Take a moment to confirm this with your lane partner before starting. - Enter safely
To keep everyone safe, please do not jump or dive into a shared lane. - Be courteous
Everyone is here for their own workout. A little patience and kindness go a long way in making the space enjoyable for all. - We’re here to help
If you’re unsure how to share a lane or have any questions, our lifeguards are happy to assist.
