Guests of all ages are welcome to use the pool during select times every day during open swim.
This enclosed waterslide provides a fun, corkscrew ride starting inside the center, spiraling out of the building and back in, ending in the recreation pool. Our Splashtacular is 151-feet long and 20-feet high. Participants must be at least 48-inches tall and pass a swim test to slide.
Lap swim is available during specified times in our recreation and competition pools and is recommended for guests who can swim with a level of competency and are interested in swimming for exercise. Walkers and exercisers may use the recreation pool during lap swim in designated lanes or areas.
U.S. Master’s Swimming is designed for guests 18 and over. Challenge yourself and improve your swimming skills. This coach-led program is open to all levels and abilities. It is great for those who want a challenging workout and for those who want tips to improve their stroke technique. Enjoy the opportunity to travel and compete in swim meets and competitions.
This surf-simulation machine—the only of its kind in the area—crosses snowboarding, skateboarding and wakeboarding into an exciting ride with plenty of challenges and a whole lot of fun! Students must be 42-inches tall to ride the boogie boards and 52-inches tall and less than 250 pounds to ride the stand-up boards.
There will be specified times when the recreation pool is reserved for families. Parents must accompany children under the age of 6 in the pool.
This is the place for homeschoolers (K-12) to engage in aquatic exercise, as well as develop relationships with their peers. Learning to swim is more than just stroke development. Children are taught in small groups with others of their own age and skill level to facilitate the students’ socialization skills. Instructors use a child-centered approach which offers more active involvement and a better understanding of swimming, thus more learning and more fun.
Swim lessons are available in group, private, and semi-private formats. Classes are available for guests with special needs.
Our facility features an area with zero-depth entry for toddlers, as well as a shallow-water area for preschool and beginner swimmers.
During our Preschool Beach Swim sessions, time is set aside for our youngest water lovers and their parent(s) to enjoy the water beach entry, shallow water, and play feature areas. This time is intended for preschoolers (ages 6 and younger) and their parent to enjoy some playtime in the water. Only specific areas of the aquatic center will be open during this time period.
Activities and programs may include Water Fit, River Fit, Aqua Zumba ®, Senior Splash, Deep Water Exercise, and more. Times will be scheduled for those who want to walk, jog or exercise on their own or in a group setting.
Participants must be at least 14 years of age unless pre-approved by the instructor. Designed for all levels of fitness, classes include a warmup, cardiovascular set, toning and stretching exercises.
Perfect your stroke technique and build endurance in this advanced swim group. These clinics prepare swimmers for competitive teams. Coaches provide advanced workouts, in-house swim competitions and provide service learning opportunities. A minimum level of swimming skill is required.
Our facility offers two 1-meter diving boards. The diving well is 12 ½-feet deep. Diving instruction is available. Please visit our Welcome Desk for fees and additional information.
